If the old adage ‘you are what you eat’ is true, we want to help you make healthy eating choices. So on Saturday, January 17, we kicked off our new season of Delta Fit Club with a Nutrition Boot Camp, designed to jumpstart our 2015 fitness goals.
A certified nutritionist provided helpful tips to help the 20 attendees prepare healthy meals, control their portions and form healthy eating habits. Here are just a few of the wonderful takeaways:
- You can’t out run a bad diet – sooner or later it catches up to you.
- The size of your meals is key to sustaining healthy eating habits.
- A proper diet can account for up to 80% of successful weight loss.
